WARRANTY

The Company (EPAL) is committed to providing high quality products. We back this commitment with some of the longest warranties of the sector. Moreover, the warranty provided is not calculated proportionally and is fully transferable. The Company (EPAL) provides the same coverage from the first day of the warranty, regardless of who owns our products.

• Frames – Window and door frames have a 10-year warranty against manufacturing, material and workmanship defects.
• Glass panes – Insulating glazing units have a 10-year warranty against visible defects caused by failure (damage) of the airtight insulated glazing.
• Finish – Finishes have a minimum warranty of 10 years against breakage, cracking or chipping under normal use. Warranties against fading are determined by the coating type and range between 1 to 10 years.
• Material – Factory installed materials are fully covered for 10 years. Materials are guaranteed to operate during this warranty period.

Damage caused by the following:

• Damage caused by excessive heat or contact with flame
• Damage caused by an abrasive or cleaning agent
• Damage to the finish caused by direct contact with a corrosive chemical
• Damage caused by accidents or force majeure
• Damage resulting from abnormal placement and tearing
• Damage resulting from improper maintenance

Product defect or damage due to improper installation or modification, including:

• Adjustments or corrections due to improper installation
• Defects due to product modifications or due to the use of devices that harm the product (e.g. glass tinting, security systems, improper paint or dye, insulating covers etc.)
• Units that have been assembled or cut improperly
• Defect due to the application of non-factory hardware (e.g. locks, finishes, hinges, emergency devices, joints etc.)

Additional services excluded from this limited guarantee:

• Workshop for product replacement
• Service trips to provide instructions on the use of the product
• Applicable taxes and freight costs
• Hardware items not installed during production

THIS WARRANTY IS VALID IN PLACE OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PURPOSE AND DOES NOT APPLY TO PRODUCTS’ NORMAL DETERIORATION, ACCIDENTS, FORCE MAJEURE, FIRE, MISUSE, ABUSE, NEGLECT, USE OF HARMFUL CLEANING AGENTS, OR DIFFERENT INSTALLATION THAN THAT RECOMMENDED BY EPAL.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU THE SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM COUNTRY TO COUNTRY. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL EPAL BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF OTHER PROPERTY OR EQUIPMENT, OR COST OF TRANSPORT, INSTALLATION OR REINSTALLATION OF ANY PART OR PARTS PRESENTED HEREBY.
