The London Residence is a private home of minimalist design by the architectural firm Guido Constantino, located in the city of London, Ontario, Canada.
The architectural concept of this modern residence is defined by simplicity, clean volumes, and expansive glass surfaces that merge the minimalist interiors with the surrounding natural landscape.
Situated in a region known for its severe climate and harsh winters, the project demanded exceptionally high levels of thermal insulation and watertightness. For this reason, the builder turned to EPAL to supply aluminum frames for the large-scale openings.
To bring the vision to life, the high-aesthetic systems 18000 Ultra K and E50 were chosen, offering thermal transmittance values (Uw) from 0.78 W/m²K and 1.45 W/m²K respectively.
The aluminum frames were coated in AMMOS 9005 Super Durable by NEOKEM, known for its excellent resistance to extreme weather conditions.
Thanks to EPAL’s top-quality aluminum systems, the architects’ minimalist vision became a reality, and the homeowners now enjoy a space filled with sunlight and moonlight.
