The high-end apartment complex Gayley & Lindbrook Apartments is located in the heart of Westwood Village, one of the most historic commercial districts in Los Angeles, in sunny California.
On what was once a 12 km² ranch, Westwood Village was created from scratch in the late 1920s—a complex of Mediterranean-style residences and shops harmoniously integrated with the local climate.
Almost a century later, the creators of Gayley & Lindbrook designed a state-of-the-art apartment complex in a traditional style, honoring the architectural heritage of the neighborhood. For the aluminum window and door systems of their luxury residences, they entrusted the excellence of EPAL.
The aluminum system chosen for this demanding project was the 18000 Ultra K series, thanks to its thermal insulation performance, high aesthetic appeal, and wide range of colors. The desired bronze shade was ideally achieved using the highly durable Medium Bronze D2000 coating by Akzo Nobel.
With EPAL’s high-quality and versatile aluminum systems, the creators’ vision for an architectural gem that would seamlessly blend into the iconic neighborhood was successfully supported.
