A durable and elegant aluminum system with excellent thermal insulation characteristics, designed to satisfy aesthetic and functional needs. With a great variety of profiles and lines that enable the construction of diverse typologies.

Thanks to the sash depth of 38mm and the stainless INOX tracks, the ES38 system can support sashes up to 130kg, making it an ideal choice for medium and large openings.

Characteristics

The sliding frames of the ES38 range have the following characteristics:

  • Sliding windows for medium and large openings.
  • Profile with a thermal break along its entire length.
  • High thermal insulation Uw starting from 2.9 W/(m2⋅K).
  • Heavy-duty mechanisms manufactured by the German company HAUTAU, which secure the front part in up to 4 points, offering security and functionality.
  • Smooth and safe use thanks to the special mechanisms used.
  • A wide variety of typologies such as parallel and in-wall windows
  • Accompanied by hinged and parallel screens.
  • Constructed using specific materials and fittings which fulfill predefined high-quality specifications.

Glazing

At EPAL we use glass panes by Guardian and Saint Gobain, two companies that are world leaders in glass production. EPAL ES38 is a sliding frame system with double or triple thermal insulating glass panes that achieve a thermal transmittance Ug = 1.00 W/(m2⋅K) for double glazing and up to 0.7 W/(m2⋅K) for triple glazing, as well as high levels of sound insulation

The aluminum profiles of the ES38 range are painted using electrostatic powder coating in the new, state-of-the-art EPAL plant after appropriate surface treatment (preliminary degreasing and chromating), to ensure better paint adhesion as well as high quality and durability.
