At EPAL, we combine our windows with the highest-quality glass available in the market. We offer a large variety of glass that can cover all of your sound and thermal insulation requirements, combined with the appropriate know-how to help you choose the right composition for your needs.

We use glass panes imported from Guardian and Saint Gobain, two companies that are world leaders in glass production and innovation.

EPAL has been certified by the German Ift Rosenheim Institute regarding the sealing processes of thermal insulating glazing and thermal insulating glazing using gas in accordance with the DIN EN 1279-2 and DIN EN1279-3 standards.

Thanks to our technical knowledge and the high quality of our materials, our glasses can achieve a low thermal transmittance up to Ug=0.6 W/m2K, as well as very good sound insulation (Rw (C; Ctr) = 48 (-2; -6) dB according to laboratory tests.

Double glazing

Double glazing is made from joining two single glass panes that are connected to each other by a special spacer. The materials used for welding have a high resistance to temperature changes and a low thermal conductivity coefficient. There may be air or an inert gas between them in order to prevent the transfer of heat between the inner and outer glass panes.

Triple glazing

Triple glazing is an extension of double glazing, offering even better sound and thermal insulation compared to double glazing. The materials used for welding have a high resistance to temperature changes and a low thermal conductivity coefficient. There may be air or an inert gas between them in order to prevent the transfer of heat between the inner and outer glass panes.
